Fore! Ryder Cup Interpreters Teed Up For Success

The 2016 Ryder Cup will be held at the Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota. Golfers from around the globe will fight for the coveted golf trophy and translators and Ryder Cup interpreters are ready to show the world what Minnesota has to offer.

The late fall golf event is the 41st Ryder Cup. Europe enters the competition as the cup holders after winning in Scotland 2014. Because of this, Minnesota anticipates a lot of international travelers to visit the Twin Cities for the sports event that may require foreign language interpreting services. The economic impact for the 2016 event is estimated at $135 million with a large portion of those dollars coming from international visitors. Interpreters are readily available for most languages to help visitors feel welcome to the sports event and help them communicate essential information. Special event interpreters for global sporting events are highly trained and prepared to respond to high-profile events such as the Ryder Cup and are proud to highlight their language and vocabulary expertise.

Often, international travelers require on-site interpreters.

On-site language interpreters and document translators are often required for international sporting events. Language services for events include:

  • international press events
  • global marketing, advertising and public relations
  • fan events before, during and after such as tours and meals
  • business meetings
