The Unsealed Mission
As we prepare to celebrate INGCO International’s 20th anniversary, we are looking back into out journey that spans over 2 decades. In the world of language services, there is a technical term: “Language Access.” To many, it sounds like a compliance box to be checked. But at INGCO International, for the last two decades, language access has been our heartbeat. It is the fundamental belief that a person’s ability to understand their doctor, their employer, or a global brand should never be determined by the language they speak.
When Ingrid Christensen started this journey in 2006, our lips were unsealed with a specific purpose: helping Spanish speakers navigate the complex, often frightening world of medical care. We saw firsthand how a single word, correctly interpreted, could change the trajectory of a life.
From One Language to Two Hundred
Bridging worlds isn’t a static job; it’s an evolution. Over the last 20 years, the “worlds” we bridge have expanded from local clinics to global eCommerce platforms and international conferences.
As we grew, we realized that “bridging” required more than just bilingualism, it required Wordologists™. We didn’t just add languages; we added layers of expertise. We moved from interpreting in hospital rooms to localizing complex digital marketing strategies for Fortune 500 companies. Today, we speak over 200 languages, but the core mission remains unchanged: Equal access to information.
The Tech-Enabled Bridge
The landscape of 2026 looks vastly different from 2006. The “bridge” is now built with sophisticated technology, automated workflows, and AI. However, our journey has taught us that a bridge built only of steel and silicon, without a human heart, is fragile.

Our lips haven’t been sealed since 2006, and they certainly won’t be as we lead the charge into the future of global communication.
