SUCCESS STORY
INGCO International enables leaders in international food production to engage students in global development programs despite barriers from the COVID pandemic.
As a leader in global food production, our client facilitates an annual student development program to help future leaders prepare for their careers in food production and agriculture.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, they had to pivot to a virtual meeting experience that maintained the integrity of the program, while allowing participants to remain safely in their homes.
Client’s Challenges
INGCO’s Solutions
Their week-long interactive event needed to be moved to an online platform that allowed for virtual engagement in participants’ primary languages.
We created a virtual meeting experience that our client felt confident would meet the needs of their program. In preparation for the event, we spent over 15 hours testing the platform and provided technical support throughout the event.
The event needed to feel collaborative and engaging even though participants would attend online – and from all over the world.
We created and facilitated virtual breakout sessions so students could connect with others who spoke their primary language and offered interpreting support throughout the event to answer questions, provide instruction, etc.
Sessions needed to be facilitated simultaneously with students across the globe, in different languages, and in different time zones.
We implemented our expertise in localization. We created a blueprint to understand the user experience from each location and we monitored meetings from each time zone to keep all hosts, presenters, and participants on track.
