We provide elite ADA remediation and strategic accessibility audits for mid-market and enterprise-level clients who demand the highest standards of universal design.
The Role: We are seeking an expert Freelance Accessibility Specialist to execute manual WCAG 2.2 audits and technical remediation. You will be the technical engine behind our compliance methodology, ensuring that our clients’ digital assets are natively compliant, legally defensible, and universally accessible.
Core Responsibilities:

Manual Auditing: Conduct deep-dive audits of complex websites and web apps using screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver), keyboard-only navigation, and color contrast tools.

Code Remediation: Implement “Built-In” fixes within HTML, CSS, and ARIA to resolve WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA failures.

Technical Reporting: Produce clear, executive-level remediation roadmaps that prioritize high-risk vulnerabilities and legal liabilities.

Quality Assurance: Verify that all remediated assets meet our internal benchmarks for digital integrity and WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards.
Required Qualifications:

3+ years of dedicated digital accessibility experience (IAAP CPWA or WAS certification preferred).

Mastery of WCAG 2.2 Level AA standards and their practical application in complex web environments.

Expert-level knowledge of WAI-ARIA, semantic HTML, and accessible JavaScript patterns.

Ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines for high-stakes enterprise clients.
