About INGCO International

At INGCO International, our purpose is to provide equitable access to communication through tech-enabled, human-centered language services. We work with language-obsessed professionals (our Wordologists™) to make sure every voice is heard and understood with cultural dignity.

The Role

We are seeking 2–3 energetic, outgoing, and sharp Community Brand Ambassadors to represent INGCO International at the upcoming Office of Language Access (OLA) Community Celebration in Kansas City.

Your main goal is to connect with local linguists and recruit freelance interpreters (Spanish, Dari, Oromo, ASL, and other languages) to join our growing global network. You’ll be the warm, welcoming face of INGCO—engaging attendees, sparking meaningful conversations, gathering contact details, and spreading the word about our mission. The objective is to send interpreter leads to the INGCO recruiting team.

What You’ll Do

  • Engage & Connect: Proactively approach event attendees, community members, and language professionals at our resource table and throughout the venue.
  • Recruit Interpreters: Clearly articulate who INGCO is and invite qualified interpreters to sign up for potential opportunities with us.
  • Collect Leads: Efficiently collect contact details and interpreter sign-ups via a digital intake form or contact sheet.
  • Be the Face of INGCO: Deliver a positive, professional, and memorable experience that aligns with our core values of accountability, proactive engagement, and celebrating language. And! Wear a fun INGCO shirt 🙂

Who You Are

  • Outgoing & High-Energy: You love meeting new people, easily strike up conversations, and bring a warm, personable presence to any room.
  • Quick on Your Feet & Smart: You instantly “get” our mission of language access and equity without needing extensive training or oversight.
  • Self-Motivated & Proactive: You don’t wait for people to walk up to the table—you actively initiate conversations and drive engagement.
  • Community-Minded: You value diversity, inclusion, and the importance of multilingual communication in local communities.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (Spanish, Dari, Oromo, ASL, etc.) are a strong plus, but not required.

Please send a brief note introducing yourself, your resume, and why you’d be a great fit to represent INGCO International at this event.
